Twinkle Khanna didn’t want Akshay Kumar to star in PadMan; know why?
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his next film PadMan and the film is going to release on 26th January 2018. The team of PadMan is very excited about this project. Recently the whole team came together for the song launch and interacted with the media.
During this audio launch, the whole team including Akshay Kumar, R Balki, Radhika Apte, and Twinkle Khanna interacted with the media. Like Akshay, the whole team wants a grand release and well-spreaded buzz about the film. The film is about monthly periods and hygiene of women in India.
Talking about the film, Twinkle Khanna told that Akshay was never her first choice for the role but it was R. Balki who made her agree on Akshay’s name. The trailer of PadMan is already out and it is being loved by the fans and the audience. The film can spread a good message to the audience and especially to the people of India so they can discuss this issue openly.
The director of the film, R Balki said that this film is not for women but for men because they don’t know how much a woman goes through a pain during these days. Recently Bill Gates also praised Akshay Kumar’s previous film Toilet Ek Prem Katha and told that it inspired him.
On this, the superstar showed his happiness that Bill Gates loved his film. Akshay also said that Balki is a sensitive director and no one is better than him to direct this film.
