Mumbai: It seems to be the year of celebrity weddings while B-town was still reeling with Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge’s wedding hangover and also that of Amrita Puri with Imrun Sethi, here comes the biggest news of the season – Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are married, finally! Lovingly known as ‘Virushka’, the couple tied the knot rather secretly in a hush-hush wedding ceremony at a beautiful 800-year old countryside resort in Tuscany called Borgo Finocchieto. The wedding was attended by close friends and family.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma first met while shooting for a TV commercial back in 2013 and since then they’ve been Bollywood’s sweethearts. Anushka sharma made the wedding announcement via an Instagram post on her official account. The same was posted by Virat Kohli too.

You will totally agree that no wedding is complete without good food and for Virat-Anushka’s wedding nothing less than an extravagant spread could have been acceptable. It is believed that Chef Ritu Dalmia took charge of the Virushka wedding menu which included some of her signature dishes from her restaurant – Cittamani. Their specially designed and customized menu is known to have featured some exotic dishes such as porcini mushrooms wrapped in Bikaneri roti and stuffed ravioli with paneerkurchan. It was an extensive spread with not just Italian delights but also Indian fusion, South Indian and desidesserts like rabri.  Does not have a confirmation regarding this information from the master-chef herself and we are awaiting her response.

A grand reception has been planned on 21st December in New Delhi at Taj Diplomatic Enclave. This will be followed by another reception in Mumbai that will be graced by Bollywood stars and cricketers.
